Last October, The Howell Co. gathered 55 attendees at Cillar de Silos to celebrate the Harvest Festival. An event that not only paid tribute to the harvest ritual, but also served as a meeting point for wine lovers and good company.

A heart-pounding agenda

The day began with a visit to the historic subway cellars of Cillar de Silos and Dominio del Pidio. Among centuries-old passageways and sleeping barrels, the guests discovered the secrets of the aging of the wines that have made Ribera del Duero famous.

Later, our lovely guide took us to the modern winery to briefly explain the winemaking process. And after that, it was time for lunch! We enjoyed a picnic lunch with Cillar de Silos and Dominio del Pidio wines and a ham cutter.

The event was also marked by the collaboration of Mobility Centro Mercedes, with whom The Howell Co. shares a vision of exclusivity and sophistication. The dealership added a touch of distinction to the day, making four Mercedes AMGs available for attendees to enjoy luxury and elegance up close. It also provided giveaways for all participants.

With the last drinks, the experience turned into a challenge. We had a blast with outdoor games of skill. With laughter and throwing, competition became an added ingredient to the day, reinforcing the community spirit that defines The Howell Co.

With the day concluded at the winery, the most active continued their adventure in the bars of Aranda de Duero, while the rest of the attendees enjoyed a well-deserved rest at the Hotel Torremilanos. The harvest festival has established itself as a milestone in The Howell Co. calendar, demonstrating that wine is much more than a beverage: it is a story that is lived, shared and remembered.
