Saturday, March 8: a journey through time and wine

The clock struck 11:00 when the guests crossed the threshold of La Casa. From the first moment, the feeling of exclusivity was palpable: an environment reserved just for them, with a team dedicated to making their stay memorable.

The day began with a tour of the facilities. This tour uncovered the history and character of this emblematic enclave. From the century-old winery to the old stables, every corner told a story and every stone breathed tradition.

The experience became even more sensory with the tasting of Cosme Palacio wines, where the nuances, aromas and textures gave shape to an unparalleled sensory journey. The good food of La Rioja came to life at lunchtime, with a traditional roast served in the House itself. A shared table, the aroma of firewood and the flowing conversation between glasses of wine made the moment a celebration of good living.

After a feast for the senses, it was time to relax. Some chose to explore the vineyards on electric bikes, others preferred to relax in the gardens with a glass in hand, while conversations about wine and life flowed leisurely.

The evening brought with it a dinner prepared by the chef of La Casa. Dishes where the Basque-Riojan cuisine was expressed with mastery, paired with carefully selected references, closed an unforgettable day. But the evening did not end there. In the living room, the “Wine & Chat” became the perfect epilogue: stories, anecdotes and laughter shared over a well-served glass of wine.

Sunday, March 9: crossing the walls of Laguardia

Morning light bathed the vineyards as the group gathered for a leisurely, unhurried breakfast. The aroma of coffee, freshly baked bread and the feeling of having slept in a corner that few are privileged to know created the perfect atmosphere to start the day.

At 11:00, the chauffeur-driven Defender was waiting to take attendees to the Despensa de Cosme Palacio, an essential stop to discover some of the region’s finest products. Next, a stroll through the cobblestone streets of Laguardia, guided by an expert in the history of the medieval town, transported guests to another era.

With the farewell, it was time for the last photos, hugs and the certainty of having been part of something unrepeatable. Casa Cosme Palacio is not just an accommodation; it is a capsule of history, a luxury refuge and a sanctuary for wine lovers.

And like all good things, only a few have the privilege of experiencing it.
